Orange Candidates 2008 – in their Groups.
On the 13th September 2008, Orange residents voted in the Local Government Election. Voters were presented with a ballot sheet containing a list of the names of the candidates, and that’s it – just a list. The majority of voters may ask themselves “Who are these people, why should I vote for them if I don’t know who they are or what they represent?”
To help the Candidates for Orange introduce themselves to you we asked them send in a resume covering the following points -
- A brief summary about what they do for a living, family, hobbies, sports, pursuits, movie likes & dislikes etc.
- First time candidates can tell us what they will be bringing to the people of Orange. Existing councillors can tell us of their accomplishments in making Orange a better place to live and what they will do to make it even better.
- List of their priorities with Number 1 being the most important.
- How they intend to make their priorities happen.
- A Summary of their intentions.
- A small image of themselves.
