Councillor Chris Gryllis:
Chris Gryllis arrived in orange in 1962 from Patmos, Greece and has lived and worked in Orange since then, wife Mosha and daughter Irene.

Real Estate Agent since 1974
Community involvement:
Rotary Club of Orange since 1971 – Current member, former member of the Chamber of Commerce for one term and Executive member for 13 years, Red Shield appeal committee for 30 years and the last 11 years as chairman.
AS A COUNCILOR I have regarded serving the city of Orange to be a privilege and a honor, I have enjoyed immensely the friendship and opportunities to work with many councilors and council staff over the years.
Some of my involvement has included the relocation of the department of agricultural as a newly elected councilor, tidy towns, sister cities, airport committee, serve on Blayney County CouncilĀ abattoirs and Ophir electricity, Orange Base Hospital relocation committee, the establishment of the Orange botanical gardens and Gosling creek recreation area, and many others.
In the last term I served on the council for 1 year as the deputy mayor and I have been the chairman for finance for a number of years.
My goals are to continue serving the city of Orange. I am standing on the F group with Teighan Frame, Carlo Nielsen, Brian Eggleton, Chrissa Gryllis and Matthew Skulander who look forward to serving the citizens of Orange.

Our Goals for Orange City Council
- Continue to work towards solving our water problems.
- Work in co-operation with our neighboring councils.
- Encourage new industries and business to our city and still look after the existing ones.
- Council to work in harmony with council staff.
- Continue to improve the safety and security of our city.
- Maintain and improve our social physical infrastructure whilst remaining environmentally friendly.
- Focusing on the future.
